Born in Troy, Alabama in 1992, Lloyd Shillabeer has been passionate about photography from a young age. His father entrusted him with his first Canon AE-1 35mm camera when he was 15 and it was evident that this was going to be his career path.

As a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Shillabeer found a strong attraction to landscape photography and the banal storytelling it possesses once photographed. This led to a series of images captured over the span of 2-3 years called “industry”, as well as the color series entitled, “alabama”.

After months of shooting architecture and landscapes, Shillabeer made the jump to fashion photography and immediately fell in love, with a great response from peers and friends. Since then, he has graduated and begun working in New York City for fashion photography agencies such as ArtPartner, and presently Tim Howard Management.

Shillabeer works test shoots for modeling agencies such as Supreme Models, MSA Models, DNA Models, and One Management, among others.
